Butter London’s Trout Pout is another very popular color with a great reputation online. This one definitely lives up to it’s reputation, unlike Cheeky Chops, which I reviewed this morning.
Trout Pout is a very bright, almost neon (but it’s not, even though my camera is pretty convinced it is) coral with pink undertones. It’s sort of salmon-y, sort of melon-y. Very summery and cute and bright and happy 🙂 It’s not a super unique color though; brands like Essie and OPI definitely have colors very similar to this in their lines.
The formula is perfection on this one. It was very smooth, opaque and easy to work with. It was fully opaque in two coats, and had an amazing shine after it was dry. The color didn’t get thick like Cheeky Chops did and layered really well without dragging or pulling on previous coats.
Butter London is available at Ulta, Nordstrom and stores where department store products are sold.
Have you guys tried Trout Pout? What do you think?
