I’m going to preface this post with THERE ARE A LOT OF PICTURES IN THIS POST. I went a little picture heavy but it’s because a polish like this needs and deserves quite a bit of picspam.
Enchanted Polish’s “Yesterday” is the newest (as of the summer) polish to be added to the very coveted and sought after Imagine collection, all inspired by Beatles songs. I’ve mentioned this before, but the Beatles is my favorite band of all time, and I have a very personal connection to all things Beatles. On Enchanted Polish’s Instagram, it was announced that there was a new color to be added to the collection and I knew I had to have it. I went a little restock crazy but did end up getting my hands on it and was very pleased with it when it finally came. Just as a little tip, the Enchanted Polish Instagram is one of the best ways to make sure you’re up to date with restock times. That and subscribe to her email alerts.
Anyways, Yesterday is a multichrome polish with a strong holo, just like the rest of the Imagine collection. The main color of the polish is a rich array of fall leaves. Which is a very vague description. But if you just glance at your nails, it’s a reddish-orange-gold mix. Then the color shifts to a purple and fuchsia. At the very most extreme angles you get an almost yellow-green. The colors are super reflective and bounce the holo that’s inside it right off. It’s glory in a bottle.
The polish is opaque in two coats and dries down very shiny and dries fairly quickly. I used OPI’s Nail Envy as a base and Seche Vite as a top coat just to add a little bit more shine. In the sunlight the polish turns even more reflective and the holo is super strong. This is one of the best examples of what Enchanted Polish does best. Other brands do make duochrome holos, but I have yet to find a brand that makes the polishes quite as shiny and opaque and strong as Enchanteds.
The rest of this post is just photos in various lights so you can see all the dimensions of this polish. You can purchase Enchanteds straight off of her BigCartel site, just make sure you subscribe to her social media so you are up to date with her restocks since they’re so much competition for her polishes. They retail for about $15 each.
