The next polish I have to show you is Be Humble. This came from a collection called the “Emoting Me” Collection, which had colors all based off of simple emotions and actions that should be remembered everyday. When it was first released, I thought it was a very thoughtful collection and was an interesting theme – one that wasn’t very explored in many other collections I had previously seen by other brands.
Be Humble is a gray-lavender base with a gentle but bright blue shimmer. Like Abi, it’s a very fairy sprinkle like shimmer, instead of a mega in-yo-face sort of shimmer. The shimmer is a nice zing of color on a very soft base and give the color a nice bit of character. Also like Abi, the shimmer is dainty and not super obvious in person but still more obvious than the photos show. The below was taken with flash and you can see the shimmer more clearly.
This was opaque in 1-2 coats again, which is sort of a classic RBL formula. It dries down fairly quickly as well.
Be Humble lasted on me for about 3 days before I removed it to apply the next color. There were no obvious signs of wear.
Rescue Beauty Lounge colors are available on her website. Each polish retails for between $18 and $20, which is definitely not in everybody’s price range. However, it holds the same quality for me as brands like Deborah Lippmann do, especially within her creme finish polishes, so I feel the price is worth it.
Stay tuned to my YouTube Channel though, as I’ll be having a RBL giveaway soon!
***Product provided for review. I am a reviewer for Rescue Beauty Lounge, however I will always review with 100% honest opinions, regardless of my status with a company or brand.***
