I’ve mentioned this before, but I often like going to get manicures to maintain my cuticles (because I’m bad at it) and because I like the time to zone out. I LOVE painting my nails. But sometimes, it’s just so nice to let somebody else paint your nails.
Most of the time when I go and get my nails done, I pick from the OPI selection because those are the polishes that are best maintained in my salons and have the widest shade range. Once in a while I go with Zoya because I have one salon near me that actually offers it – otherwise it’s OPI or random brands that I’ve never heard of, and when I do NOTW posts I honestly just like showing you guys colors that you’ll be able to get your hands on. I think once, I posted a color that I’ve never heard of, and it was because it was one of the most unique polishes I had seen in a long time.

To get back to the point, this time around I picked one of the OPI Soft Shade colors from last year’s Oz Collection colors. I have a blog post on the entire collection, which you can see here 🙂
Don’t Burst My Bubble is a very subtle bridal pink color. The shade isn’t obviously pink, but it isn’t beige either, making it a very versatile color for many different skintones. It’s not a super unique color considering all of the bridal soft pinks out there but it’s formula makes it quite surprisingly nice. It’s a slight jelly so it takes a few layers to become opaque but when you do layer it, it gets super glossy and very gel looking. For those people who go in for regular manicures and don’t want to spend the money on a gel manicure, then this will be a great color to pick. It also wasn’t super goopy after layering for about four coats, I noticed, so that was also a plus.
This is one of those colors that’s a great palate cleanser in between different colorful manicures. Again, it’s not super unique though so if you’re have a color like this in your collection then this really isn’t going to be a super exciting polish for you lol.
Do you guys have a favorite soft color like this in your collections? Let me know! I’d love to see what you guys turn to when it comes time for a neutral manicure 😀

  2. this particular blog is on blogspot 🙂 i actually have all of this content backed up on a wordpress site but i use this as the main blog i regularly update. this is super easy to use for newcomers and is a great way to get started! once i got used to how blogs and things online worked, then i started a personal blog on wordpress. both have their benefits but i'd say blogspot is great for beginners.
