Lush Lacquer’s Ticklish Teal is the first polish I reached for out of all the indies that I bought. Being a teal lover, this was a mega hit for me.
Ticklish Teal has teal hex, teal bar, black hex and holo hex pieces suspended in a teal jelly base. I layered it over Zoya’s Charla to get a very very VERY teal sparkly look for my nails. I couldn’t stop staring at my nails when I had this on.
The formula was on the slightly thicker side, especially because it’s such a chunky glitter, but it was by no means difficult to work with or anything. I used 2 coats of the glitter over Charla and you can’t really even see Charla come through noticeably. Without the Charla base, the manicure would look a little bit more transparent on the nails.
It wasn’t difficult to get a good amount of glitter on the nail, since the glitter was pretty densely packed into the polish.
For a base coat I used OPI Nail Envy and as a top coat I used INM Fast Dry Top Coat. This manicure lasted a good 6 days before any wear.
This may be one of my favorite manicures of the year.
You can purchase Lush Lacquer on both Harlow & Co as well as Llarowe, which are both online etailers that specialize in selling indie and international polish brands.
