I’ve started to run low on my current mascara so recently I purchased a new one at Sephora. As of right now, my favorites are (in order) Fairydrops Scandal Queen, Benefit They’re Real, L’Oreal Voluminous Full Definition (golden tube), Covergirl Lash Blast/Covergirl Eye Lights Waterproof, Benefit Bad Gal Lash, then after that is just every other one I’ve tried, which is… a lot. Both high end and drugstore.
Generally, I’m a fan of lengthening mascaras over volumizing mascaras. I also will reach for waterproof over regular, if the option is available.
This mascara I saw on the little wall of mascaras that Sephora always has. I’ve actually tried a fair amount of them from purchasing them my self as well as from little mascara samples. Mascara samples, by the way, are some of my favorite samples to get because I rarely have to buy mascara if I’m out and sometimes I get GREAT samples.
Anyways, I’ve always had my eye on this one but I never purchased it because I figured there were so many other things I’d rather have than a new mascara. I finally caved though, and bought this one after I had run through a ton of samples and a ton of my regular sized mascaras.

Eyeko, for me, was mostly known for their super cute nail polishes, which have been on my list FOREVER and I still haven’t bought. It’s a British brand that is primmarily not available here, except for their mascaras.
Eva Chen, Teen Vogue Beauty extraordinaire, then posted a picture of this on her Instagram, and said she really loved it so I was totally sold after that.
Eyeko Skinny Brush Mascara comes in a tube that looks like a lipgloss tube. The brush unscrews off and is very narrow and the bristles aren’t rubber, but that material that is on spooly brushes. The bristles swirl around the brush and are separated fairly far apart.
The packaging, I can see is convenient when you start running out of product… you can squeeze from the bottom up, which I’ve never seen in a mascara tube. Hopefully that actually works.

The mascara itself is fairly lengthening and separates quite well. Below I just put one coat of the mascara on and it made a very noticeable difference.

It layers pretty well, and doesn’t get clumpy.
This mascara is available at Sephora and retails for $19. It also comes with a “shield” but I have no idea where I put it. It looks like a guitar pick… so I may have just placed it somewhere without thought because I thought it was a guitar pick.
I do like this mascara, so I’ll review it in the future, further, when I wear in this mascara a little 🙂
