Noms. Noms noms noms. It’s so pretty. I could eat it. But not really because then it’d be like that Strange Addiction episode. But look!
I was pretty adamant that I wouldn’t buy any of the OPI Germany colors. It seemed like a collection of colors I had seen before and nothing excited me at all until I saw Scrangie’s swatches. Then I ended up getting 3 of them. *Sigh* lol.
Every Month Is Oktoberfest is the most complex and beautiful of the three – it’s a deep purple base, like a Japanese eggplant, with a bright jewel like red shimmer mixed in. When layered the red shimmer really pushes through and it looks like a metallic red from far away but when you look up close you can see the red shimmer mix into the purple. It’s SO pretty!
I included a few different pictures so you can see the red shimmer. The purple was super hard to capture though, but if you enlarge the photos you can see the purple peek through just a little on some of the swatches 🙂
For this manicure I used Nubar Foundation Base Coat and Seche Vite. My nails were intact for a good 5 days before noticeable wear. OPI is available at Ulta, as well as various salons and retails for about $7 to $9 each.
