Another birthday present post for you today 😀
I first saw this on Elle (AllThatGlitter21)’s channel and it was just gorgeous in her footage. I otherwise had seen really nothing about it so I knew I wanted to purchase it but wanted to research it a little bit more first. That was quite a while ago…. like months ago. I sort of forgot about it, even, and then Sara sent it to me and I just couldn’t even believe it. I’m always amazed that she remembers what I want for so long and so well.
Not only is it a gorgeous product but the packaging of it is just beautiful. It’s super girly and elegant and totally fits in with my room lol.

It comes in a compact that’s slightly shimmery, like the light side of the powder on the inside. On the front is a little chandelier which is the same as what yous ee inside the compact.
The product itself has two sides, a white gold side and a shimmery pink side. Both look glowy inside the pan, even before swatching it.
The texture is softer but not completely soft and messy. Almost like a baked product or a Mac Mineralize Skinfinish. The softness comes from how finely milled the powder is, I think. The product swirls onto the brush very easily and the shimmer is not at all chunky on the skin. The soft golden shimmer truly does make you look candlelit.

When swatched and used separately, the gold on the left is a very light, white gold. It makes a fantastic inner corner highlight for the eyes. On the right is a soft very light pink base with the same gold shimmer. When blended together, the gold is pretty strong but the pink definitely does sneak in on the skin. It doesn’t lean pink at all but you can see it’s there.

This retails for $29 and you can get it at Sephora. I totally recommend it if you’re highlighter crazy like I am 🙂
