Be prepared to see a lot of NOTW posts coming up – I’ve been in a pretty indecisive nail mood lately so they’ve been changing a lot. A lot a lot. Like… daily.
Today I changed my nails to one of the China Glaze Hunger Games polishes, Fast Track. Fast Track is a light grainy beige with lots of gold glass fleck shimmer pumped into it. It’s gorgeous and another perfect neutral with a kick for those of you that want a neutral but don’t want it to be your standard, sometimes boring, creme finish color.
The formula for this was awesome. It went on opaque, smooth, and dried fairly quickly. I put two coats of this over Nubar’s Foundation Base Coat.
On my accent nail I put China Glaze’s Luxe & Lush, also from the Hunger Games collection. It’s a chunky opalescent flake polish. It’s not smooth and flat, it’s got quite a bit more texture, along the lines of Color Club’s Covered In Diamonds. It meshed well with Fast Track and added just a bit more glitz to the polish.
On top I used China Glaze’s Fast Dry Top Coat.
Both of these polishes are now available at stores like Ulta, Sallys and etailers. They retail for between $3 and $6 and should be pretty readily available.
