This should have been posted… years ago. Lol. I’ve been using EOS lip balms for about 2 years now, and I always get questions about them, because of how they look. Like little eggs!
I first saw this in a magazine like… maybe 4 years ago? Some magazine either Cosmo, or Vogue, or Allure or Elle or something had a little blurb about the “Inside-Out Lip Balms” and how amazing they were. EOS only had like two types at that point (original and tropical fruit? or something) and I couldn’t find them forever.
I finally bought my first ones, Passionfruit and Lemon, about two years ago and then the one above, the Strawberry Sorbet, this past winter.
Strawberry Sorbet smells like a Yoplait strawberry yogurt, or a strawberry cream sort of smell. You all know that I’m pretty sold on anything strawberry so I quite like this scent. The Passionfruit is a very nice summer scent, and the Lemon is a classic therapeutic lemon scent that you’d find in a lot of lip and hand products.
These balms generally last about four hours for me before having to reapply. The actual product itself takes about 4 months of constant use, as I’ve seen in my friend’s “egg” although I have yet to finish one since I have so many other balms to use.
Their original scents, Passionfruit, Lemon and Melon… or maybe it’s Mint? you can find at all drugstores. The limited edition ones you can find at Ulta and they all retail for less than $4 I believe.
