This was inspired by a picture I saw on Tumblr as well as a SayAnythingBr00ke tutorial from last summer.
I was at work, thinking about my nails and was thinking that I desperately wanted something nautical but not super summery. I have this running archive of all the tutorials Brooke has done (because I’m weird) in my brain, and remember the Under The Sea / Mac To The Beach themed nail tutorial she did last year and decided to swap out the coral for China Glaze’s For Audrey.
I also wanted to embellish the other nails, but not go the shell route because again, I thought that’d lean too summery.
Then it hit me – if I was going to use For Audrey, why not go Tiffany themed?
And then it hit me again, why not do the tiny white heart route like the picture I saw on Tumblr?
So I planned it all out and then executed.
Products Used:
  • China Glaze For Audrey
  • OPI Alpine Snow / Dotting tool (for hearts)
  • OPI Happy Anniversary! (for white/silver “sand”)
  • Konad / Bundle Monster for the sea horse and anchor
  • Orly Shine (to paint lightly over the sea horse and anchor)

The sea horse and anchor stamps were inspired by Brooke as well as some individual silver pieces you can find at Tiffany’s. I painted silver over them just to add more towards the Tiffany like theme 🙂 I hope you enjoyed!
