This is from OPI’s holiday collection this year, the Burlesque Collection. I said this before, and I’ll say it again, it’s the closest to my favorite red polish of all time, Smitten With Mittens by OPI, which was released with the previous year’s holiday collection. They’re not dupes though.
Ali’s Big Break is a candy apple red with pink and gold shimmer in it. The shimmer isn’t uniform and is finely milled, much in the same light as the Zoya Sparkle collection or many of the China Glaze shimmer-glass fleck colors.
This is pretty easy to use. It doesn’t glob everywhere. It’s on the sheer side though so 3 coats is needed.
I’ve been gravitating towards the Burlesque collection recently, both the shimmers and glitters and I have no clue why lol.
This was with one coat of Zoya Anchor, and then a coat of Zoya Armor and Seche Vite. It lasted pretty well. I just got bored and changed it before it could chip or anything. It had a good 2 days of no chip wear though.
The picture below shows the shimmer pretty well in the bottle. The color is more accurate to the photo above though.
